About STI CEMS
We’ve built a story.
Being family oriented, customer focused, offering excellent reliable service, operating with the highest integrity and being as responsive as possible: these are the the values in which STI CEMS seeks to operate. Over the years, we’ve built a story rooted in the a foundation of approaching each project, vendor, customer, community member, and teammate with this set of values at the forefront of our interaction. Because building a good story means building a good legacy.
Our story:
After returning home from active duty Air Force in the early 90’s, Wade Day started work as a service technician for Graseby STI. By 2003 Wade was ready for a change and decided to branch out on his own and started STI CEMS running it from his personal shop. He did so with little more than severance pay, a punctual UPS guy, and two extremely dedicated partners willing to work long hours without pay. This resourceful team rebuilt the STI brand on a constant commitment to developing their expertise and their relationships. Unafraid to find out what they don’t know, STI has always surrounded themselves and leaned on the knowledge and wisdom of the industry’s most experienced CEMS technicians and suppliers.
Today, STI CEMS is still debt-free, and headquartered in a more expanded version of that same personal shop within the small community of Waldron, Arkansas. STI is now 28 employees strong and proud that almost half of our staff are veterans of the US Military.

WHAT IS A VOSB (VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS) AND A SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB)?
Every freedom, privilege, and opportunity available to Americans is a debt owed to the men and women who sacrifice these benefits in service to our country. The priceless cost of their service can never be repaid, but many people want to honor and thank veterans through community and financial support. About three million veterans have opened small businesses across the nation, and for them a business certification, such as VOSB or SDVOSB, can open the door to better business, bigger clients, and exclusive government contracts. By joining this diverse global supply chain, veterans are open to new opportunities and give their communities another way to say, “Thank you for your service.”
